top 4 favourite songs of all time

Like a Rolling Stone- Bob Dylan- Seriously, this man is a visionary and writes brilliantly and blah blah blah, but the reason I like him the most is the way he sings. He sings each verse like it’s an extension of him. He challenged the aesthetic boundaries of the songs of his day. He was a rebel and iconoclast. Basically, he was it. 

All Along the Watch Tower (Bob Dylan cover)- Jimi Hendrix - This song is just okay. That is if by ‘okay,’ I mean amazing… but I don’t really want to argue semantics with you. wink.

Ram On - Paul McCartney - The prettiest song I know. Nothing I say can do it justice.

Sympathy for the Devil- The Rolling Stones - This track touches upon the dichotomies of good and evil in human nature and the corruption of man.  The lyrics are just brilliant and are very reminiscent of Bob Dylan’s style with a dark edge. And the execution makes the song. It is so on point… given the amount of audacity employed in it. In other words, so. much. swagger.
